BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB "RADIOTHON"

Dont you love it when something you think is gonna be a drag turns out to be something that touches your heart ? Well that is just what happened at the boys and girls club radiothon. I have to admit ,with times as hard as they are right now , I thought people would hate me for asking them to donate $$ to any cause. Then I got down there and stood in the hot humid scorching sun in front of Carpet Empire Plus and people started showing up with 20 dollar bils and rolls of quarters and bags of change and 5 s 10 s and 1 s . It really gave me a new hope for humanity and the listeners of 93 7 KCLB ROCKS. But then I had a group of the boys and girls from the Cathedral City boys and girls club that really truly touched my heart. Positive youngsters full of life and energy and these great kids are products of a great organization THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF AMERICA ! specifically the Coachella Valley. When I left, not only did I feel good about myself but I was very happy that all of you out there showed me once again that ROCK HAS A HEART ! THANK YOU KCLB LISTENERS !
